Queens

When it comes to diversity, population, sports, and culture, the borough of Queens is certainly a king! From a geographic standpoint, Queens is both a county of Long Island and a borough of New York City. Beyond that, Queens is one of the most diverse cities in America; many demographics occupy different neighborhoods throughout the borough. Latino, Filipino, African-American, Caribbean, Indian, Muslim, Korean, and Greek barely scratch the surface of how much of a melting pot this borough is. For a New Yorker, Queens is symbolically where New York ends and Long Island begins. If you’re a Long Islander, Queens is where New York begins and Long Island ends. However you look at it, Queens is not to be missed!
