Nashville

Tennessee’s state capital is a hotbed of honky-tonk, a country music variation that will have you saying, “Yee-haw!” As the home of the Country Music hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry, country music is to Nashville, what fine wine is to France, or what jazz is to New Orleans. Combine that with hearty helpings of barbeque, chocolatey Moon-Pies, and cowboy hats, and you’ve got a city that knows how to party! Just make sure if you do a karaoke version of Patsy Cline, don’t botch the lyrics!

I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of country music, with the exceptions of Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, C.W.
